I came to "The most beautiful fjord in the world" ...
... as a founding member in order to launch an image and marketing campaign for the city and region of Flensburg together with other representatives of Flensburg's business community. The goal was and is to increase Flensburg's attractiveness for skilled workers who want to move to the city, and to play a leading role in the competition between regions in this regard.
I love Flensburg, ...
... because of the tradition of my family. My family has lived in Flensburg since 1688. This is where I was born, grew up and went to school. After studying in Switzerland and the USA and my first job in Düsseldorf, I was drawn back to the north. My wife also comes from a merchant family in Flensburg. So it was the family roots, the love of home anchored in my DNA, and the tasks in the local family business that led me to spend my entire professional life in Flensburg. I am grateful for having had this opportunity.
