Who we are
That's why we - an association of local entrepreneurs - have set ourselves the goal of making the Flensburg Fjord shine through continuous location marketing. To this end, we founded the association "Die schönste Förde der Welt e.V." in 2013. We are now a strong alliance that includes numerous companies and organizations.
With campaigns, events, activities and more, we are constantly putting the spotlight on our home region and making headlines across Germany. After all, the Flensburg Fjord not only shines as a vacation and leisure destination that attracts visitors with its water sports and beaches, but also as a place to work, study and do business - in short, as a place to live. Because if there is one thing our region knows how to do brilliantly, it is to balance work and life. In addition, the center of the entire German-Danish border region, Flensburg, is one of the most beautiful cities in the north: with the Baltic Sea on its doorstep, a historic cityscape and maritime flair.
