I love Flensburg, ...
... because it is one of the best places to live and work. Not too small, not too big, close to Denmark, no long distances, a lively economy and beautiful nature right on the water.
The people in and around Flensburg ...
... are colorful, creative, relaxed and honest.
For me, Flensburg ...
... my home, even though I only moved here in 1997.
Here Flensburg and the Fjord show themselves from their most beautiful sides:
I simply like living here: the proximity to Denmark, the water, the nature, the short distances and the beautiful old town. I can't imagine a better combination. Only the long A7 to the rest of Germany could be shortened, but I'm happy to accept that because the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages.
