Environment and climate on the Flensburg Fjord

The goal is clear: Flensburg is to become a CO₂-neutral city by 2050! Numerous companies, committed citizens and city representatives in Flensburg are dedicated to this task. They have joined forces to form Klimapakt Flensburg e.V. and have been raising awareness for climate-friendly behavior with creative campaigns, lectures and excursions ever since.

In order to drive forward the energy transition, the city of Flensburg is committed to renewable electricity production, for example, and is paving the way to CO₂ neutrality with numerous other measures.

Renewable energies and energy efficiency also play a major role outside the city.
